But look past the marketing presentation, and you will see the massive compromise hiding behind that giant number. To actually hit that headline-grabbing 1,100Hz refresh rate on the new 27-inch Odyssey G6 (model number G60H), you have to downgrade your display to blurry, outdated 720p HD resolution.
According to report details from Asif Iqbal Shaik at SamMobile, this 27-inch Fast IPS LCD panel runs at a native QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at up to 600Hz. If you want the full 1,100Hz, you are effectively trading modern visual clarity for a smeared, low-resolution image just to make the screen refresh faster.
